Quill James Brabham, Jr. was born July 27, 1969 to the proud parents of the late Quill James Brabham, Sr. & Sarah Lea Brabham in Bamberg, South Carolina.

Reared in a God –Fearing home Quill felt the love of God at an early age and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and was baptized at age 12.

Quill graduated from the Bamberg Public School system in 1987. After high school he went on to serve honorably in the United States Air Force and retired after 21 years.

Quill has served in numerous ministries within the Baptist churches both stateside and overseas. On 11 February 11, 1996, he was ordained as a deacon at the Mt. Ary M.B. Church of Columbus, Mississippi.

He accepted his calling into the preaching ministry on 9 February 1997. On 13 Jan 2002, he was ordained as a minister of the Gospel at the New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church in Columbus, Mississippi.

Since then he has continued to endow himself in the study of God’s word by completing a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Education from Jacksonville Theological Seminary, Jacksonville, Florida and a Masters of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry Degree from Luther Rice College and Seminary in Lithonia, Georgia.

He also possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Regents College, Albany, New York.

Dr. Quill J Brabham was elected to serve as Senior Pastor of the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in April 2010.
He is known throughout the mid-South as a dynamic preacher and teacher.

He serves as a Community Health Director with the Tennessee Department of Health.

He is married to the former Amanda Williams and they are blessed with two adult children, Kourgee, and Quill III.
