Our Mission and Vision

Mission

Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church aim is to help populate the Kingdom of God and to equip God’s people to live out the truth of His Word while experiencing and embracing the favor and faithfulness of God in the context of their own lives.

How We Carry Out Our Mission as a Congregation:

**We do this by living the Great Commandment: Loving others by giving of our time, our resources and by sharing in ministering to the lives of others within the body,
within our community and around the world. (Mark 12:30-31; John 9:4)

**We do this by bringing our tithes and our offerings into the storehouse to be used to the glory of God for the work of the ministry. (Malachi 3:8, 10; Leviticus 27:30)

**We do this as we gather together weekly for corporate worship,
Wednesday night church school, Sunday morning church school.
(Hebrews 10:24-25; Exodus 4:11-12,
Psalm 95:6-7)

**We do this as we live the Great Commission, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to obey the teachings of God’s word every place we go. (Matthew 28:18-20)
